Principal's Message

Welcome Waterbury Career Academy Students, Parents/Guardians, and Staff,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the Principal of Waterbury Career Academy.       

My name is Michael Harris and I have been an educator in the City of Waterbury for over 20 years. For the last 14 years, I have served as administrative positions here in the city. Most recently, I completed my sixth year as assistant principal here at WCA, where I had the privilege to work beside Dr. Padua and Mrs. Gopie. I am honored to have been chosen to follow in their footsteps and become the new principal in 2021.

I look forward to continue to work with the entire WCA community we prepare our students to become college and career ready.
