Eligibility Information

Waterbury Public Schools Eligibility Policies

• All athletes must have a physical on file with the nurse prior to tryouts, along with parental permission
• All athletes must pass four classes in marking periods before and during the season (need four credits from previous year for fall sports)
• All athletes must maintain a 70 average or 1.67 GPA in the marking period before and during the season.
• Students whose credits are withheld due to excessive absences are ineligible.
• Parents and students need to read and sign all necessary informational sheets (see coach for links).
• All athletes are expected to display commitment, strong work ethic, and good sportsmanship.
